What is PPM?
PPM stands for "Parts Per Million" and is a unit used to measure the concentration of a substance in a solution. In HOCl water, it quantifies the amount of chlorine-based active ingredients relative to the total volume.
Hypochlorous Acid Water is effective from a very low parts per million concentration, 10-30ppm. The product does not require high PPM.
Products that do are not producing a stable solution. A stable solution requires precise chemistry & technology. Stability is affected overtime & through changes in temperature (travel). Therefore a local product is beneficial.
PPM is just one piece of the puzzle in creating a safe, effective HOCl solution. In reality, it’s the interplay between PPM, pH, chlorine levels, and stability that ensures your skin gets the very best.
Is there anything I cant spray SpraySafe onto?
Do not spray SpraySafe on;
- Aluminium surfaces as the acid can dull the surface and the HOCl may cause it to discolour.
- Do not spray SpraySafe on electronics of any kind.
What happens if I get SpraySafe in my eye?
Be sensible with any pressurised product near your eyes. Spraysafe is safe for your skin, eyes and open wounds but is not meant for direct eye contact. It will not sting anymore than spraying water into your eyes but we do not recommend it.
